Moved In

We are officially moved in! Woo-hoo! Living out of boxes has been quite interesting the past few days. Figuring out what to wear and finding dish towels has been more of a challenge than ever. It has been a lot of fun. We have been trying to figure out where to put our silverware and which drawer will hold our cereal. Stuff that you don't really think about that often. For example, yesterday I went to the grocery store for the first time to stock up our place. It was an exciting experience to be putting food in the cupboards and the fridge. I can't explain how that was exciting but it was.

For our first Thanksgiving in our house, Craig and I went and bought food from Boston Market and a pie from Marie Calendar's. That's right, we're being lazy and we deserve to be. Moving is a lot of work, but unpacking has been just as stressful. His parents are in Hawaii visiting their new grandkids and mine are in Lake Havasu visiting my aunt and grandma. That leaves the two of us here, in our house, with no complaints about that. We are also dog sitting for Craig's parents. We have Sugar and Spice joining us. Too cute pups!

Our House

Craig and I are almost ready to move into our house. We've had construction working on it since the end of August. We've had to change a lot electrical stuff, change the piping in the whole house, remove all the carpet, paint, and we gutted the entire kitchen. Here are some pics of what it looks like then and now.

Here's the kitchen before the remodel. The oven is across from the fridge.
Here is our kitchen now. Very bright and open.
Here is the guest bathroom before. You know you love the flower wall paper.
Here is our new guest bathroom. New toilet, tiled floor, painted and a new shower you can't see.

And here is our living room. Well, what it use to be.
Here's the living room now. You can see our wood floors, recessed lighting and painted walls.
